E Lydian mode
E F♯ G♯ A♯ B C♯ D♯
Formula: 1 2 3 ♯4 5 6 7
A major scale with a raised 4th (♯11). Over a major 7th chord it avoids the clash of the natural 4th, which is why it is chosen on maj7♯11 chords.
It has the same notes as B major, starting from E.
On the neck, frets 0 to 12
The 1st string (high e) is at the top, as in the app. The root is filled.
